The Eighth Amazigh Moroccan Channel aired a detailed news report within the main news bulletin on the evening of March 24, 2024, highlighting the Ramadan events and activities held at Dar El Huda Mosque in Amsterdam.

The report began with live scenes of Taraweeh prayers, showing believers standing in rows, raising their hands in supplication and earnestly praying to Allah, expressing their deep devotion and sincerity. It also included footage of religious lectures and guidance sessions.

The coverage featured an interview with Sheikh El Amrani, the director of the Islamic Institute Dar El Huda, who emphasized the vital role played by Dar El Huda Mosque in promoting religious and cultural awareness among the Muslim community in Amsterdam. He stressed the importance of preserving cultural and religious identity in foreign lands, as well as the role of knowledge and education in building bridges of understanding and peace among different cultures.

During a live broadcast from the institute’s premises, Mr. Hassan Karmat, a member of the religious mission specialized in overseeing the religious affairs of Moroccans living abroad, appointed by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs and the Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans Residing Abroad during the holy month of Ramadan, highlighted the significant efforts made by Islamic centers in serving Muslims abroad. He pointed out the importance of these centers in strengthening the connection of Muslims with their culture and identity.

Imam and reciter Rashid Al-Hanafi, a member of the mission, added that the atmosphere of Ramadan in the Netherlands and the warmth of religious and national bonds make Muslims feel as if they are in their homeland, emphasizing the importance of the holy month in strengthening these bonds and spreading peace and love among people.
